Sunday Roasts include beef, lamb, gammon or chicken breast, with stuffing, wrapped in bacon from £8.50 and children’s options are available. The Hare & Hounds is a friendly pub set in the beautiful village of Hawsker, just 2 miles from Robin Hoods Bay. This dog friendly pub serves traditional roast lunches between 12 and 5:30pm. 4. The Windmill Inn

The Windmill Inn is a family-run inn situated in the quaint village of Stainsace near Whitby. The Windmill Inn has a beer garden with a children’s play area to the rear of the inn so it’s an excellent choice for families looking for Sunday lunch approximately 3 miles from Robin Hood’s Bay.
Food is served at this welcoming country pub between the hours of 12 pm and 5 pm and diners can choose from Roast Topside of Beef, Roast Pork Loin & Crackling, Honey & Mustard Glazed Gammon and a Windmill Nut Roast with Meat-Free Gravy. Each is served with the crispiest of roast potatoes, perfect Yorkshire puds, mashed potatoes, seasonal veg and plenty of gravy. Sneaton Castle This astounding Castle, Priory & Chapel is in one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in the area. The Norman-Style Chapel is used for wedding ceremonies and is admired for craftsmanship and architecture.
