1.  The Victoria Hotel

2.  The Bay Hotel

The Bay Hotel, a traditional pub set at the end of the coast to coast walk in the beautiful village of Robin Hoods Bay. The Open from 12- 7pm on Sundays! To get your table booked for a Sunday Roast call 01947 880278. Sunday Roasts include beef, lamb, gammon or chicken breast, with stuffing, wrapped in bacon from £8.50 and children’s options are available. Recommendations on their social media page include: ‘Going there today for Sunday roast dinner - it’s the best roast dinner in the country. We’re hoping to get the corner plot next to sea view window!’ This is a classic British dog friendly pub with cosy fires and views of the sea.

 

3.  The Hare and Hounds

The Hare & Hounds is a friendly pub set in the beautiful village of Hawsker, just 2 miles from Robin Hoods Bay. This dog friendly pub serves traditional roast lunches between 12 and 5:30pm.  Beef, pork and vegetarian options start at £13.95 and are all served with mash, roasties, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal veg and gravy. 4.  The Windmill Inn

Stainsacre Lane, Stainsacre, Whitby YO22 4NT

The Windmill Inn is a family-run inn situated in the quaint village of Stainsace near Whitby.  The Windmill Inn has a beer garden with a children’s play area to the rear of the inn so it’s an excellent choice for families looking for Sunday lunch approximately 3 miles from Robin Hood’s Bay.

Food is served at this welcoming country pub between the hours of 12 pm and 5 pm and diners can choose from Roast Topside of Beef, Roast Pork Loin & Crackling, Honey & Mustard Glazed Gammon and a Windmill Nut Roast with Meat-Free Gravy. Each is served with the crispiest of roast potatoes, perfect Yorkshire puds, mashed potatoes, seasonal veg and plenty of gravy. Options start at £14.95 and children can also enjoy roast dinner for just £6.95.

5.  Sneaton Castle

Sneaton Castle, Whitby YO21 3QN

Sneaton Castle This astounding Castle, Priory & Chapel is in one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in the area. The Norman-Style Chapel is used for wedding ceremonies and is admired for craftsmanship and architecture.

Adults Sunday Lunches are around £18.95 and children’s options are £7.50 for pork or chicken. Open all day the popular Sunday roast is served from 12pm. Call 01947603150 to book your table.
