I've just come back from Seafern Cottage, having spent an amazing long weekend there with a cycling group. Seafern is in a wonderfully quiet cul-de-sac, so it's nice and relaxing, especially sitting outside in the garden after a long cycle ride. There's everything you need and it's so beautifully done and comfortable, too. There is plenty or space for six adults and all rooms are comfortable, two bathrooms work well and the kitchen has everything you need. It's close enough to Robin Hood's Bay centre to walk down and enjoy all that it has to offer. The bus route to Whitby and Scarborough is close by so you can leave your car behind and it's right by the Cinder Track for traffic-free cycling and walking.
If you fancy a challenge, the roads out of Robin Hoods Bay and Fylingthorpe are quiet enough to cycle up, and once you get to the top, the views are breathtaking.
Thank you Jill - I had the most wonderful time and will definitely be back. I managed to get myself a lovely Jessica Hogarth print to remind me of fab weekend!
