6 of the Best Stargazing Events in Yorkshire

Stargazing season runs from September to May.  These can be pretty cold months for sitting around outside waiting 15-20 minutes for your eyes to acclimatise to the dark. However, if you are keen to experience stargazing we can recommend joining one of the events organized as part of the Dark Skies Festival. By joining these event you’ll keep active, stay warm and stay out longer increasing your chances of seeing more of the delights of the night sky.

1.  26th Oct 2024 7:00 pm - Whitby Night Photography Workshop - One again, Richard Burdon will be running a night photography workshop at Whitby in conjunction with the North York Moors National Park Dark Skies Festival.
