Robin Hoods Bay Holidays

We've put 15 years experience of Robin Hoods Bay holidays into this blog, because there’s more to a great holiday than finding a place to stay. With so many fantastic things to do at the Yorkshire Coast it’s easy to have a fun holiday regardless of the weather. Local attractions include; to Go Ape, Bungee UK, Whitby Surf School, Alpamare UK and The Yorkshire Waterpark.  Plus Robin hoods Bay is on the coastal section of the Cleveland Way and The Cinder Track making it a popular destination for walking and cycling holidays.

It has become a tradition in the seaside town of Whitby to enjoy a rather refreshing dip in the North Sea on Boxing Day morning. This fun and frantic and quite frankly freezing event has been enjoyed over the last 48 years, originally seeing numbers soar from a handful of brave locals to around 230 eager individuals travelling from far and wide.

The Cleveland Way National Trail runs for 110 miles. It starts in the pretty market town of Helmsley, crosses the North York Moors National Park, a place of great beauty and tranquility, before meeting the coast at Saltburn. The North Sea section then takes you down via Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough, past Abbey and Castle to the finish point at Filey Brigg.
