Golf Breaks at the Yorkshire Coast
HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO LEARN TO PLAY GOLF?
Golf is good exercise. Not only do you spend a lot of time on your feet, but you also do a lot of walking. In fact, most courses will have you walking around 4 miles by the end, so you'll certainly get in your daily step goals. It also allows you to spend time outdoors and to challenge yourself. Pick a course with great views and that alone can be an uplifting experience. Learning to play or improve your skills as a couple, with family or friends can be a great bonding experience, creating life long memories.
Our local club, Whitby Golf Club is located in a stunning cliff top location between Whitby and Sandsend since 1895. There are wonderful views along the coast between Kettleness and the iconic Whitby Abbey and views inland towards the rolling North York Moors. Wherever you are on the course you are guaranteed stunning sea views!
Visitors are welcome and beginners and improvers can book lessons with PGA professional James Ellis-Caird. James takes a different approach to coaching by throwing out the ‘rule book’ of technique and creating a space to truly connect and build a game of golf which works for each individual - Beginner or Improver.
