The Whitby Christmas Festival and Market takes place on 15th - 17th November 2024 and will be full of festive cheer, with craft stalls, music, and childrens entertianment it's the ideal opportunity to get in to the Christmas spirit and start your Christmas shopping!

Stargazing season runs from September to May. These can be pretty cold months for sitting around outside waiting 15-20 minutes for your eyes to acclimatise to the dark. However, if you are keen to experience stargazing we can recommend joining one of the events organized as part of the Dark Skies Festival.
